EyeNet’s highly flexible solutions meet the needs of any ANPR application, with capabilities for wireless transmission. These include mobile and fixed installations, available light and infrared (IR) cameras for nighttime operation, and compatibility with nearly all Windows™-based PC or laptop computers. Only EyeNet ANPR solutions fully support an end-to-end Arabic user experience—from reading license plates to using the mobile or fixed client to administering EyeNet’s powerful data management software. Plus EyeNet can provide software, individual solution components and complete turnkey systems.
EyeNet’s software uses optical character recognition (OCR) and applies it to reading multi-national plates.
The method Eyenet’s software utilizes has the ability to read characters in great detail which allows the software to read many languages including Arabic, Chinese, and English. EyeNet has used this technical advantage to develop fast video triggered license plate character recognition that reads Arabic and English characters simultaneously.
In reality, a computer vision application may encounter a source image, which is extremely complex. The Arabic language is a prime example of subtle differences that change the meaning of the character. Additional factors include dust, sandstorm damage, or fading colors, which distorts the characters' image; and uneven lighting may make them difficult to discern. EyeNet has been well developed and trained to handle these conditions.
EyeNet Camera Systems
Successful license plate recognition is largely dependent upon choosing the right camera for a specific application. EyeNet camera systems are highly flexible, allowing users to capture license plate data under a variety of environmental conditions.
EyeNet software is compatible with many commonly available cameras. However, we do recommend specific models that have proven to be durable, accurate and affordable. These cameras provide color overview and built-in infrared (IR) capabilities for low- or no-light conditions, and are manageable and configurable. EyeNet cameras can capture license plate data in color or IR.
EyeNet has sold and successfully deployed the solution to police in the GCC. To our knowledge, this is the first Arabic/English character mobile license plate recognition system ever demonstrated or installed within the GCC.

All EyeNet solutions leverage the company’s powerful data management software. This software is designed to reference license plates against any piece of personally identifying information, from passport or visa number to name, ID number, etc, from a wide variety of data sources. This allows users to accomplish two very important goals: 1) to identify who is in the car before the officer or other EyeNet user makes physical contact with the driver, and 2) to record what vehicles have passed an EyeNet camera on a road or through an access gate without the need for a human attendant. The software can then trigger the appropriate alerts and notifications if an unauthorized or wanted vehicle passes.

EyeNet’s powerful, yet easy to use mobile client can run on a variety of touch screen laptop computers and supports screen sizes down to 8 inches. EyeNet mobile client features:
